POSITION

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for project management including project planning, action plan, execution and hand over to operations of the full portfolio of access, transport and core network elements
• Co-ordination of all internal and external involved parties, responsible for balancing time, budget, quality
• Key contact for customer (SPOC), main contact for customer escalation
• Close working relationship with ZTE China and local 3^rd party supplier (sub-contractors), co-ordination of project plan execution with sub-contractors and product line in China
• Responsible for fulfilling contractual agreements with customer and follow up payments according to contract
• Project reporting towards ZTE and customer
• Responsible for project documentation
• Support key account activities, i.e. support RfQs, RfIs, RfPs, customer contacts, presentations, etc.
• Visit relevant customer to capture after sales opportunities and analyze customers’ needs
• Support feasibility studies for potential projects
• Evaluate company capabilities to meet customer needs
• Support tender proposal and relevant documents preparation based on the customers’ request for proposal (RfP)
• Support account manager together with technical departments to develop sales opportunities based on an understanding of customers’ requirements

THE CANDIDATE

• Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, electronics or computer science
• A minimum of 5 years experience in the telecommunications industry, either with telecom vendors or operators
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of telecommunication operators, in particular within Vodafone
• Experience in rollout of large mobile networks, i.e. mass rollout of sites and/or core network elements 
• Good project management skills, proven track record of business development and management experience within large organizations
• Strong technical understanding of mobile network technologies
• Good networking and relationship management skills
• Experience in after sales activities in the area of site rollout and installation of core network
• Experience of working with different cultures in complex environments and working in virtual teams
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to succeed in an ever changing environment
• Highly flexible, organized and effective time manager skills
• German native speaker, English must be business level
